5,641 Granola Bars and Counting: Newnan & Carrollton's Summer Series

Sometimes big impact starts with the small stuff sitting in your pantry. This summer, Keller Williams Realty Atlanta Partners agents in Newnan and Carrollton put that idea to the test, launching a donation drive for Backpack Buddies built around three simple staples: mac & cheese, granola bars, and fruit cups.

The response blew past expectations. By the time the drive wrapped, agents had collected an incredible 5,641 granola bars alone - plus boxes of mac & cheese and fruit cups that will help make sure local kids don't go into the school year, or a weekend, without something to eat.

Backpack Buddies programs exist because hunger doesn't take weekends off, and neither did these agents. It's a reminder that a full pantry shelf back home can turn into a full backpack for a kid who needs it - one granola bar at a time.
