Found on Google, Delivered 185 Pounds of Supplies: The Avantor VWR School Supply Story

Not every act of generosity comes through an existing relationship - sometimes it starts with a Google search. That's the story behind Avantor VWR, a local business that decided to run its own Back-to-School drive, searched online for a way to make sure the donations landed somewhere meaningful, and found Kares 4 Kids.

The result: 185 pounds of backpacks and school supplies, delivered as a complete surprise to the team. Those supplies were distributed to three organizations doing critical work in the community - Special Needs School of Gwinnett, Corners Outreach, and StreetWise - each thrilled to receive the unexpected boost heading into the school year.

It's a great example of how far a simple search and a willingness to help can go. Avantor VWR didn't need a personal connection to make a difference; they just needed to look and we are so grateful they found us!
