Aging out of foster care is one of the most vulnerable transitions a young person can face - often with little safety net and even less certainty about what comes next. Thanks to The Brothers Trust's $10,000 donation to Lydia's Place, 20 young adults transitioning out of foster care will now have stable housing and support as they pursue education and independence.
Stable housing is the foundation everything else is built on. With that foundation secure, these young adults can focus on what's ahead - finishing school, building a career, and creating the kind of independent life that foster care too often makes difficult to reach. It's a powerful reminder that support doesn't end at 18, and that continued investment in young people changes the trajectory of their lives.
